    Big rock......

This rock lifted the front end of a Kubota L45 up in the air. .....but my little DX33 got it up the hill. :)

    Shrapnel in gear case

Got home later than I wanted to from work, but was still able to get home in time to get everything back together. Started. Moved. Spun the PTO without issue with no load. Need to adjust the levers, top off the oil, torque the right rear wheel.....and she should be done...

    Shrapnel in gear case

Lots of progress, but lots of frustration also. I went from this..... To this...... Not bad for an afternoon. Now for the frustrating part. I went to turn the ignition on so I could turn the turn signals on to make sure that I had the harness routed correctly. I turned on the...

    valve adjusting procedure TC29D

Sorry it took an extra day or two.....but here's all the manual says. It's actually a very simple procedure if you've adjusted the valves on anything else before. Just make sure to have some form-a-gasket or a new valve cover gasket.

    Shrapnel in gear case

Found a few small pieces of metal that had migrated towards the portal/brake assemblies. So that housing came off to get cleaned out. Overal, it all looks pretty good. No real other damage. Just trying to make sure that I can get all of the metal out.

    Shrapnel in gear case

Jammer.... A fair number of hours to get to that point and I found a bunch of other little items I want to tidy up....but it does beat having the dealer do it and sure beats the price of a new one. Because of the height, this is all the bigger I can go and get it in my garage. Wanna...

    Shrapnel in gear case

So my PTO has been chattering for a bit and no is occasionally kicking itself out of gear. So I pull the Mid-PTO assembly off to find what appears to be some small pieces of gear in the bottom of the case. She'll start coming apart tomorrow...... UGH!

    removing lever ends

It looks like I have to pull apart the rear end of my Case DX33 (think of it as a red TC33DA.). To get the fenders off.....how do the balls on the ends of the selector levers (rear and mid PTO, 3point and hydraulic remote controls, etc) off? I see no fasteners on them and it doesn't look...

    PTO "Chatter"

I've got a 2004 Case/IH DX33 (think of it as a red TC33DA) When running the PTO, I get a "chattering" that's consistent with the RPM of the engine. It's not the implement or the shaft as it does it with a number of different implements that I've used. It's sometimes hard to engage also...

    In serious need of guidance.....

OK....so I just kinda bought a baler by mistake. Long story...bid on it thinking that it was a great deal full well knowing that someone else would bid higher. Turns out....they didn't. Soooooo....I now own a baler. For work....I deal in grain handling. I sell bins, augers, drags...

New Holland TC 21DA ? New Member

I've got an old truck plow adapted to my DX33 Case. Love it! Used a QR skid steer plate with some 2x2x1/4" square tubing on the front of it for some added support. Welded her all up and ran hydraulics from the rear to the front for the power angle. You can somewhat see in the pic that I...

    adding hydraulics/grapple to a JD 3038E

No problem at all running those lines as long as they are a hydraulic line setup for running the right pressure. I've actually got a snow blade on my loader that I've hooked up using the rear remotes on my tractor. Works great. As far as disconnecting the grapple lines, I thought of that...

Snow Blade tractor brackets for a #380 polow blade to mount on 750 compact tractor

I got the blade from a friend. Had been sitting in his yard and I strategically asked him "What are you going to do with that?" while his wife was there. She urged me to take it. haha. My FEL uses a skid steer QA on the front so I welded everything to a plate for that. I had to cut...

Case DX and New Holland TC/Boomer Cruise control issue FYI

I was replacing the strut that adjusts/holds the steering column on my DX 33 over the weekend. While I had the side covers off and was swearing at how there's no room to get the pin out of the bottom end of the cylinder, I found that the wires for the magnet that holds the pedal for the cruise...

Snow plow adapted to the FEL

OK. Here's what I've got. Not my best fab work ever...but I think it'll get the job done. I'll have about $300 :licking:in it by the time the hoses are all done etc. Right now, it's a 7.5' blade....and my garage door is also 7.5'. Unless someone tells me that 33 hp of compact tractor...

    Hour meter issues

Some people would see the hour meter stopping on their tractor as a good thing. I am pretty religious about my maintenance so I like to know when things are due. Unfortunately, my 2005 DX 33 is stuck in 799.9 hours. If I take the panel apart, can I get to it to see why it stopped, or is it time...

    DX 33 Gauges

I'll keep this short and sweet. My gauges on my DX33 seem to read low. I can fill the tank and the fuel gauge never seems to read full. I've got a new thermostat and the temperature never comes out of the blue. Is there a ground for the dash that gets corroded? Does anyone know the...

    Sprayer Pump issue

I have a Delavan 66-3110 pump that I am using with a 15' sprayer and I am having a few problems with the pump. I've checked all other lines and they are clear and have isolated this to a pump problem. I tried running the pump and couldn't get any pressure from it. Even with a short hose and a...

Tires  Case DX33 Ag Tires and wheels

I'm looking to put ag tires and wheels on my 2005 DX33. Currently it has the R4's on it and although they are great for mowing and general work, the extra width is making it so I'm having to plant with my rows better than 40" apart. I'd like to be 30-36" if at all possible. Anyone know how...

    3-Point Hitch  Hydraulic Toplink

Hey guys! I've got a 2005 DX 33 with dual remotes and I'd like to go with a hydraulic toplink on it. Anyone have a kit that you know of that includes hoses etc? Also, if anyone has run one, how useful have you found it?

    Tough starting

I've got a 2005 DX33 Case/IH that I absolutely love. It's got 690 hours on it and has been well maintained from what I can see. (Bought it with 66x hours on it). Recently, it's become a bit hard to start. I'm wondering if the glow plugs are starting to fail or if it is the timer. I...

    Long time first time

I'm a long time tractor operator, first time on here and just now getting back into it. I grew up working on a 1,800 acre crop farm and a 250 acre apple orchard. I've got 2 acres currently but I've been hunting for a bit more land. I currently have a collection of old Gravely model "L"...
