Thanks, I don't know what part this carb with the plastic lever plays, but I haven't been able to locate one. All have metal linkage . My carb number is w-26B. Everything I have seen stated that this different carb is compatible with w-26B. So, I ordered it. we'll see what happens

the one in the first pic is like the one that xyz123 has posted. But I don't know if the are the same. I see the difference in the pic but I have no idea if there was a design change or not, or whether the carb in the first pic will work ,or not. Having a hard time locating the carb in the...

I think I'm also going to purchase a new carb. Can you tell me if the carb in the 1st pic will work instead of the carb in the 2nd pic which is like the carb. on my saw ? They appear to be the same except for the black plastic linkage vs different linkage in the first pic

B had the fuel filter on it and went to the primer bulb when I removed the line. A appears to be the return line and just barley stuck in the hole (not down into the gas) in the top of the tank with no filter. So I don't understand how when the primer is pushed, it can draw gas through Line A...

So, the line doesn't come from the tank, to the bulb then to the top line on the carb ? When I push the bulb, gas comes from the tank, fills the bulb and pushes it up to the top of the carb. You are saying the line from the tank needs to go on the non suction side of the bulb ? There are three...

well, I went out to day and worked on it again. Got it to run somewhat.... Somewhat meaning as long as I pump fuel bulb, it will run. I pump the bulb, it starts running. then it quits. I don't believe the carb is pulling gas from the bulb to keep it running. Bad carb ?? IDK. The ser # is...

I'll check again for another line. But that little nylon connector that was somehow installed to connect the gas line from bulb to the gas line in the fuel tank is the only connection to the tank. I still have no idea how they would have gotten that little nylon connector pushed into the fuel...

I was talking about drilling it out. May not have to drill out. The fuel line is of the smaller size. You talking about hemostats ? LOL. I have some of those from back in my paramedic days 1980's lol. Never though about using them in the shop though. About 35 here today cold in the shop. I'll...

Due to the location, it's difficult to get to that little hole. It's kinda below the engine. I'll look back at it later and see if I can do anything with it. If not, it's toast ! LOL

Well, I went to the garage today and checked it out. I thought the fuel lines were good. But when I took it apart, the fuel lines fell apart. This is the green ''wild thing'' While trying to replace the fuel lines the little nylon connector that's pressed into the plastic housing connecting the...

Poulan is probably 5 yrs old and is difficult to crank...

I just don't understand these cheap poulan saws. I have one that ran great for a couple yrs. Now, I struggle to get it started, and keep it running. I can go get my 55 rancher, or my 372 which are older than the poulan. A couple pulls and they are off and running all day ! The poulan just...
