Having a blast with our new M62

The M62s being sold now have an additional backhoe bucket coupler type as an option, and which type of backhoe bucket coupler you choose will determine what series buckets will fit your backhoe. Here are the three options as of last Spring 2021: The M59 and M62 backhoe could be ordered with...

Good for you on the options. What have you decided? IMHO, one of the more major decisions missed is which type of backhoe bucket attachment configurations to go with. On the CCV, I'm not sure what it is or what it does? Do you have some more information? Does Kubota still offer the fold down...

With so many reporting the same sound it must be normal. Just as a point of reference, I've not heard anyone mention that sound in the M59. The 59/62 share the same engine & most parts - except for the emissions equipment.. M59 is EGR and M62 is DPF. So the DPF emissions may be the source of...

So now I'm confused or maybe didn't explain it well. Tell me again what happens when you pick up a 20 or 30 foot section of tree in the grapple and the path you need to drive down isnt that wide? It sounds like you must know a grapple trick like my fore and aft backhoe trick that you use for...

In the Rockies, we don't have much brush and the trees are tall. So it's better to carry them fore and aft rather than across the front of the tractor. A grapple would be nice but not as useful as a thumb on the backhoe for carrying full length pines.

Something to keep in mind when evaluating all our opinions on these Kubota TLBs is that mine is an older M59 built from 2008 to 2015. The current M62 model which a lot of the TBN posters own is darn near the same machine - but with a few differences we know about and there may be others we...

Sure, I do that all the time if I need to. I'll curl the bucket in while also pushing down with the boom and pulling the dipper to fill the bucket as it moves towards me. It works well that way to cut through real tough going - like tree roots and such. I'm self-taught on the BH, but thought...

Hello mtputney, I have a M59, but other than the BH digging depth and emissions parts it is vertually the same as the M62. Just turned over 1000 hrs. I think you are talking about the swing pump. Yes, it does have a separate pump for left right movement of the BH & I assume the M62 does too...
