Some photos from the Upper Peninsula...
A couple were from me playing with my new drone. One from deep in the woods grouse hunting and another from the viewing point above Spectacle Lake.
A few photos taken about a mile up from the mouth of the Big Two Hearted River. Fly fishing. The nest had a juvenile bald eagle in it. We were pretty confident we saw it take its first flight just after I snapped this picture.
I have seen where you can collect moose droppings (work best because of their size) and allow them to dry. Once dry, coat them in paraffin or wax. Make great fire starters.
It's become an epidemic here. The only hope to stop it is a good frost to kill the midge off that spreads it. We see pictures of 170 class bucks dead from it weekly.
We lost several of the does we had at our feeder to EHD in the last few weeks. I miss seeing them and my dog, who thought they were friends, does also.
