Everybody gets a choice! My wife didn't like the spinner on the lawn mower...so I took it off the Craftsman. I would mow fields with the tractor / bushhog, while she was mowing the lawn. Worked good for about a month. Then she put in her two week notice... Guess I need to put the spinner back...

It's interesting how new ideas are often eliminated before they are even tried... The second knob has never been in the way...and one or the other is used 100% of the time! Having 2 suicide knobs ranks right up there with hydraulic Top N Tilt for being the best mod on the tractor...and it was...

As mentioned, the steering wheel does not remain aligned with the wheels... Which is why I put on 2 suicide knobs, opposite from each other. I can always find a comfortable position and the unused knob has never been in the way on my MX6000. //Terry
