Backpack blower at work over the weekend at camp. It rained all the the previous day but she still pushed them off. Drier would be better!

The ability to start and stop while wearing it is important. I shut mine down maybe 4 times in the 1.25 miles of trail I did that day. :unsure: Maybe we could loan you ours for a TEST?

We got it for two reasons. Its the most powerful blower built (as of now, anyway) and you can start it while wearing it.

Out blowing our trails today, this machine rocks, would even blow these rain soaked leaves. Top photo shows extra fuel bottle that was brought along and used to get the trail done.

Will be in the field today to blow our single track trails off since canopy might be 60% down now. Bringing things along like fuel and water will be a challenge since dearest is away to help her elderly folks some. Will post photos later.

No use in lighter snow, we don't worry about light snows. It was around $800.

BR 800 C-E MAGNUM at work over the weekend. Good thing is it blows hard, bad thing it takes the gravel off!

Being able to restart the machine without taking it off. Is a BIG plus for us.

Used the deluxe blower this weekend. Did find the air filter was plugged up from dirt. I know this is a dirty, dirty job but maybe stihl should have used a larger one? Bottom photo shows clean and unblown in the same shot.

From comments made by users, we got this unit with the side pull, or wear and start setup. Today, I'd not get a blower without that feature..

That starter cord is at a GREAT location! You can start and stop it as you please and leave the unit on.

The starting cord is along the side and positioned so you can pull it forward.

This blower is quite powerful and comfortable to wear, plus easy to operate. Its a keeper from Stihl. :love:

I worried about that same thing but found if I started it while not wearing it, then after that, don't need to choke it again. :unsure:

We've ran a few tanks of gas through it now and can say this tool rocks. Its backpack is super comfortable. Starting it while wearing it is very doable and I'm starting it while wearing and its cold. I just need to remember to turn the choke on first! (choke can only be actuated from the...

We are backpackers and its harness setup was quite nice and includes a chest strap (you must have see it in pics). The backpack was lighter in weight than I expected. It was so powerful the gyroscopic effect would twist me a bit when I throotled it up and I had to lean forward to counter its jet.

A brand spanking new BR800 C-E MAGNUM stihl leaf blower went into the field over the weekend. The leaves and rocks tremble under the power of this darn thing. before and after pics This thng is so powerful, I had to brace my stance when I thottled it up. The rocks and weeds when flying!

LOVE it, but it will take some time for us to get it into actual service. o_O Might use it over the weekend while back at camp.

We are going to tell our stihl dealer to hold one for use whenever they show up.

And where are you located? Our dealer said he has no idea when his units would arrive.. I'll going to stop in and tell him that we'll take one when they do.
