    You know that you're getting old when you still have your old trusty backup saw hanging in the barn in case your Amazon saw breaks down during your second cut. And you've used one to cut wood. I need to get that down and clean it up. It should be covered in grease.

    Well, perhaps a good question. A new Stihl saw is $1500. A new FarmerTec saw is $350 + the chain and blade. I don't need a larger than 18" saw very frequently. So, perhaps one doesn't need to buy the best available for an infrequently used saw as long as one can get the job done.
