cub cadet 169

hello to all, This is my first time using this web site so please be patient. I recently bought a cub cadet 169 im having problems keeping the battery charged I taped all lose wires and changed the voltage regulator then today I was mowing for about a half hour and all the sudden it just died...

i have recently came about a cub cadet 169 which is in fairly good shape. wouldnt take much to make show quality. i know or think they were only made in 1974. i would like advise on what they are worth. i am considering selling it. i have too many projects now and think i would be willing...
