Anyone ever find a alternate solution to replace the hood , grille & panels from another model

Can someone take some pictures of their Cub Cadet 1863 or 1864 throttle assembly for me. A spring fell off the underside while replacing the throttle cable and it is not obvious where it goes. Thanks in Advance.

My dealer says that this is a common problem. Anyone else had this problem? Was it Difficult to fix.

Can anyone tell me if the 18 HP Kohler Command engine has a compression release in the engine? When the choke is pulled out the engine gets harder to crank almost like a out of time mode. After it finally starts witha lot of cranking it runs fine.

Hello all. I have a Cub 1863 that was given to me by my Dad. It cuts lawn beautifully. But, the PTO is always on. Therefore, it starts hard. How can I check if the problem is the switch versus the PTO itself. If I unhook the switch, would that normally cause the PTO to shut off? I'd appreciate...

My PTO is stuck on. When I flip the switch, I can hear a noise. But, the blades continue to run. The switch does have to be in the off position to start the tractor. BUt, the blades are engaged still. help!

Is $1295 a good price on a Cub Cadet 1863, 460 hours, 48" hydraulically lifted deck...needs 4 new tires. Body panels are in good shape and seat is not torn. Starts up and runs well. I was thinking about offering $1000...This tractor is a trade in at a local JD dealer.
