I have cub cadet 7254 won't start. Following parts have been replaced air filters,starter,battery and plunger switch by brake linkage. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering what are opinions of the 7254 model. I have a chance to buy a used one with only 45 hours. Also what model is this equivalent to for the new models Cub Cadet currently has? Thanks!
