cub cadet ltx 1042

I have a 19HP Kohler engine and was wondering if there is a cheaper oil filter I can buy instead of the Kohler Brand that costs $11.00. Any help is appreciated.

I need an economical tractor to mow/mulch 2.4 mostly flat acres with sparse grass and lots of trees. This mower will probably get used every 2-3 weeks year round in Tampa. The 1042 looks like a good choice and I intend to properly maintain it for a long life. Your opinions would be appreciated...
