I have a Farmtrac 535 that they hydraulics are jerky. I changed the fluid and filter ans cleaned the suction screen/filter by the left foot. It seemed to work better after changed and then I let it set for about a week and it's aherky again. I did not use it a lot after changing the fluid and...
I am the single owner of my 535. i noticed the RPM's were not going as high as normal under a load. I thought the filter in the fuel take may have been clogged which when i tried to take the fuel valve off the fuel tank and it broke off so i had to replace the tank and valve. i put everything...
I have a Farmtrac 535 that has a hole in the transmission case, with a cotter pin inserted in it. I found this when I noticed a leak from it, and when I checked the trans fluid it was empty. The parts manual and the repair manual show the cotter pin, but neither shows what it holds in place...
I have a Farmtrac 535 that sounds like it's fuel starved at 1/2 throttle or more. When idling, runs smooth. When you give it half throttle or more it starts sputtering. Almost sounds like a miss in the engine. When I pump the fuel feed pump manually, it levels out and sounds great for a few...
Everyone I am in a bit of a bind. My fuel line cracked right on the corner just before the nut. It looks like I will need to replace it. I have found the part number I need however I can't seem to find a vendor anywhere that actually has one. Does anyone know where I might be able to find the...
I need to check the fluid level in my Farmtrac 535. What should the position of my frontend loader be to check it? All cylinders extended or just sitting in the down position with buck curled up? I understand it can affect the fluid level in the rear, or does it?
I know it should be intuitively obvious but I am not quite sure how to check the hydrolic (I know I can't spell it) fluid. I lost some when working on my loader and need to see how much to put back in.
Hi all, it's been a while since I posted, and since postings seem sparce on the forum, thought I would just give an update on mine. Been using it for lots of odd jobs and it is still working great, digging dirt, scraping access roads, plowing, etc.:)
Can I rotate the flywheel through the small inspection hole on the left of the engine, or must I remove the starter on the right side?
The manual says nothing on this question, just advises rotating to TDC for cyl. #1, etc.
This is a 2005 model, 3-cylinder.
Thanks for any pointers!
My 535 went Tango Uniform yesterday. Water in the oil, slapping/knocking/expensive noises in the block. Made the last payment in August. I guess I took a chance and lost. Not quite 700 hours. Changed oil, filters regularly. I used it pretty hard on the farm, subsoiling, harrowing, bottom...
while working on the tractor this weekend my bolts started to back out of back right hub and started leaking oil. caught in time before hub came off tractor. Now my right brake does not work. its a framtrac 535 2007 with wet brakes is it something i can fix with breakdown sheet or more to it .
My farmtrac 535 was making a loud knocking noise coming from the injection pump. I figured the pump was bad so i replaced it with another one and set the timing back right. now the new pump is making the same noise as the other one but it is not as loud yet. anyone know what this could be?

Longtime lurker, first time poster.
I just bought a 2007 Farmtrac 535 with 65 hrs on it and so far have put another 2 hours since I picked it up yesterday.
I am looking for an Operator's Manual for this tractor. Any ideas?
If other owners would be willing to copy theirs and snail mail to...
This tractor is an India-manufactured copy of the 70's Ford/Long 3-cylinder diesel. Front-end loader and 3-point run off a pump in the differential housing, using trans-differential fluid. Power steering uses the same fluid, but routes it through a pump driven by the fanbelt. Power steering...
I topped off the fluid and changed the hydraulic filter, but there is absolutely no action in the 3-point lift arms or in the front-end loader. Power steering works; it has an independent pump and uses the fluid from the differential. Any ideas? The manual has no advice about any...
Having Troubles with the loader . When you try to lift the loader it is very jerky and slow even the 3pth does the same and if you curl the bucket it does the same. Fluid level is full. Replaced filter already. Anybody have any ideas?????
Need someone to e-mail me the Specs on this tractor. Fluid type/Fluid levels.
I don't have any books on this tractor. Anyone know where I can buy a owners/shop/repair book. Thanks
I bought this tractor used. I need a owners/shop/repair book. Anyone know where I could buy one. If anyone has one and could copy and e-mail it that would be greatly appreciated. I need the Specs on Fluid levels and Fluid types. Thanks Again.
Does anyone have the numbers for the Oil and Hydaulic filters on a Farmtrac 535. Mine are painted over and can't read them. I really need to replace them asap. Thanks.
Due to illness I had to let my tractor sit for a while. On return I'd lost they power steering assist and three point hitch hydraulics, and my differential was basically empty. I could find no sign of a large leak. Per my dealer the differential serves hydraulics for PS and lifting.
I...
After draining a little water from the fuel filters, I had to remove the fuel filter bracket to replace a broken air bleed screw. After bleeding the air from the fuel system per the owner's manual, the tractor wouldn't fire. I loosened the high-pressure fuel line nuts at the injectors, cranked...
Just delivered a Farmtrac 535 that we put Industrial tires on------the first we had ordered with this tire option. It makes this 35hp tractor look entirely different----like a much larger machine.
Anyway, I was impressed, and thought it might be of interest. Wish the pictures were better...
