john deere 1250

My 1250 acts like it isn't getting fuel. When I crack the bleeder screw and try to bleed any air out it doesn't push any fuel out. Do I need to start with the fuel filter first or is there something else I should look for? Thanks

The planters are they 1250s and also can they be set for 30" spacings

John Deere 1250 I am trying to rebuild the engine but parts are n/a or discontinuied. All that I have found is a head gasket,I'm in need of bearings etc gasket sets. Any help would be appericated. Thanks D Bergin

Anyone know anything about the 50 series having Power Beyond? I think my 1450 has it but I'm not sure why ( log splitter maybe?) Is it worth taking it off becuase its leaking like a sonofabitch.
