john deere 2555

In the process of buying a JD 2555 according to the serial # it was produced in 1987 in Mannheim. It is an estate sale so i am trying to figure out a few things. type of transmission? It has 3400 hours and was stored inside. Is this a collar shift ? Thanks

Every now and then this indicator light comes on usually when going downhill. Don't have a service manual so you guys are my best bet. Warning Light in attach pic circled in red.

The oil level on the dip stick is not entirely clear. There is a checkered section plus an eye. Since this JD2555 is new to me and I don't have a service manual I'm not sure if the level should be at the top of the checkered section or just in the eye. Anyone know? Pic of the dip stick...
