I have borrowed a Kubota L260 from a buddy and it is not charging. When Running VM shows ~12VDC at battery. Below is a pic of the alternator. I am guessing that if I jump from two of these posts or from one of the posts to ground I should see ~14VDC. Is that correct and if so which post(s)?

I recently purchased a 1973 Kubota L260 and discovered what appears to be a gasket leak between the hydraulic control and the pump where it bolts together. I have a service manual but it lacks details on the bolt up. Anyone know what I'm going to be getting into in replacing the gasket?

I just bought a L260 swith only 600 hours. it's a 1972 and has the original tires. It has a woods belly mower,very rusty and no3 pt linkage. Am I going to have a parts problem? I'd love to use it for gardening and with a tiller. Opinions? It looks great and I like it.

My kubota L260 starts fine but after 1-2 minutes the engine will die - it acts as though it is not getting any fuel. Fuel Filter perhaps? can anyone offer any help?

Anyone know how to properly adjust the fuel pump timing on a Kubota L260? I had my Fuel pump rebuilt a few years ago and it never has run right since. I think its running too rich. There is a strong smell of raw diesel when running and under load it tends to stall.
