scotts l2548

I have a Scotts L2548 (2002 model) that was build by John Deere. Yesterday, while mowing, the PTO stopped. When I looked under the mower, there was light smoke coming from the PTO clutch. It will no longer engage the mower deck. I'm assuming the clutch is gone. Has anyone had the clutch go out...
