I see a local 2002 Steiner 430 Max diesel with 1,100 hours. It’s in good shape but the age is worrying. What kind of issues come with age and what would a fair price be for a machine like this?

I'm trying to run a Ventrac KA160 Blower with a 430 Max power unit. The 430 has the air-cooled Kohler. The Ventrac manual specifies a B52 belt however, that belt is too loose even with the adjuster turned all the way for max tension. Is there another belt beside the B52 that I should try here...

I recently purchased a Steiner 430 from an individual, but the year is unknown. The tag says "430 - J8253". I can't locate any information using this serial number. Possible the year may be 1982?

Hi, I am new to this site and to Steiner but I’m looking at getting a steiner 430 with a 33hp generac motor. I can’t find much about theses motors other than in the manual. Does anyone have any bad experiences or anything I should look for when I look at it thanks
