Bought a used tractor. 1157 hrs. After short time, under very light load, just going up small incline, acts like loses pressure. Replaced fluid and filters. No change.
Tested at test ports and approx 1500-1600 psi seems like relief valve opens. Both forward and reverse. Should go up to 4000+ psi according to repair manual.
Pressure builds up fast when push pedal, but drops to nearly zero when gets to about 1500-1600 psi. No whining or other wierd noises until it gets to 1500-1600 psi.
All pedal adjustments look good.
Could it just be a weak high pressure relief valve?
