Financing 0% Financing Extended through August

I KNOW! I am happy but ticked at the same time. I spent the last week jumping though hoops to get deals done for people before the deadline. Now I have to do it again in six weeks. Geezzz.. if they where not going to change anything why did they not just tell us ahead of time.

2 reasons that I can think of...

1. Got people in the door that might have been on the fence.

2. Extended for only 6 weeks to see what the others do when their July Promotions are over...

You gotta believe someone at Kubota is looking at all kinds of things when they do financing. Among the obvious ones mentioned but whats the Fed doing with Interest rates? Well they went up a bit. So are we out of a recession? Some signs say no. Depends who you talk to. Why only 6 weeks? Flexibility to adjust quickly if signs change in the economy is my guess.

We have been in the same boat trying to get deals done before the end of the program, only to get an email extending the deadline.

Its a pain, I understand if they are going to raise or lower the rates. There are good reasons for keeping that under wraps. However if its just going to be extended it sure would have saved alot of headaches.

If it was announced early that the 0% financing was extended, a lot of sales might not have been made and some may have been lost to other brands with the additional shopping time people would have had. Expiration dates to offers create an "urgency" on the part of the buyer, when they know that tomorrow will be too late. I have purchased products at the grocery store that have been "on sale" and stocked up, only to find the next week that the "sale price of the week" was lower than last weeks sale price. An example is last week, Pepsi was 3 ....12 pack for $9.00 and this week it is 4 ....12 pack for $10.00.

That's how they keep the salespeople active. It's their way of keeping people (everybody) in the dark to create a sense of urgency. Many companies employ this technique.

My sales guy told me of the extension today also. His person in charge of everything was busting it yesterday to get 10 deals done............all before 4. They had a field day yesterday for sure.

Hey, it works, why not do it!
