I need to take this off to sand an repaint it. I can't feel any bolt heads from below. Heck, it seems like theres something under there where you can't get to the bolt heads anyway. The nuts are on the top side out in the open. I was hoping the bolts we're welded on from the bottom side

I just want to be able to get it back on without the bolts turning or falling out or whatever. Has anybody removed theirs on one of these small tractors to paint or any other reason?

Oh yeah, are the tailight wires plugged in close or will they hafta be cut since they are thru a bracket welded to the bar also

Thanx Ahead of time if somebody gets this right....hahaha

And speaking from experience, removal and installation is best when there are two people.

I got 2 people, me an the little woman. That Bar on the 1800 can't weigh that much anyway. I'd bet that it won't top out over 30 lb or so.

I'd have said less than that. I had mine off last fall. If you are at all concerned about working with it, leave 1 nut on a 1/2 turn and it won't go anywhere until you're ready to grab it.
