'02 F250 Dead Batteries

My mother in-law bought a brand new 2003 Ford Windstar in 2004. It was a left over unit from the year before. When they went to test drive it, the thing wouldn't start. They had to replace the battery....Motorcraft.

Wonder how long it had set? It could have been on the lot for 18 months with very little starting or run time.

Bought the Duralast Gold battery from Auto Zone, $114.99 each, 3 year full replacement 5 year prorated total 8 year. Put them in last night and I don't think the starter made a quarter turn and it fired up:thumbsup:.
