\'03 Boomers Have Retractable Seat Belts

Was at the NH dealer yesterday and noticed a few changes for '03. The tail lights are different and the belt retracts. I would be interested to know if the new belts could be fitted to the older models. I have already chewed-up one belt in the hitch. Has anyone looked into this?

My '02 Boomer has a retractable seat belt. I would be suprised that they changed the mount when they switched over to the retractable design. Just my $0.02.
