neighbor has a 05 dodge caravan ( grand caravan? ) with power drivers seat, manual passanger seat. she was teaching her kid to drive and ran the front of the power seat up.. as far up as it would go ( has front and rear elevation control as far as I can tell ).. anyway.. now the seat won't go down in the front.. you can hear motor running.. and it will run as long as you hold the button either up or down.. never hits a 'stop' rere elevation, and for/aft motors do their thing. She asked me about it.. I havn't had a chance to peak under the seat.. but when I do I'd like to be armed with some info.. anyone a dodge tech here
or an owner of a similar model that had this problem.. or an idea of what it is? do these use a worm drive or track.. or what? IE.. could it be a gear slipping on a shaft.. or a track with teeth missing.. or? or?
