08 montana 3840 frontend loader connection

I have a 2008 ,3840 montana tractor with the straight type front end loader, ( not curved ) bought new in 08 and have only had to change water pump and the radiator, in my opinion is not bad, and it is worked hard around the farm. OK to my question l I need a hay spear attachment but my dealer I bought from says he cant find the one that connects to my type of attachment. I dont have the skid steer. Anyone have an ideal what type of connection they are called ?

Lineman, you seem to have your thumb on the pulse of Montana tractors. I'm considering buying a 2740, but someone has absconded with the portion of the wiring harness that conveys the +12V from the starter connection to the instrument panel and ignition key. A chat with any other owner or with the right dealer could help immensely. Any suggestions?

Should be the same tractor as the Farmtrac 270, and I believe both were built by LS for each company.

Thanks for your note. I located the local dealer who had sold the tractor originally and together we worked out that that connector had housed a fuse. I wired in a new fuse holder. FYI, a 30 Amp fuse blew when I fired up the glow plug, but a 35 Amp fuse was sufficient. Electrical problem solved, and the tractor now sits in my driveway.
