Which one of these plows would work best for my MF 1523? It is a small-framed compact (size above sub-CUT), with full category one hitch. For reference, it is same size as JD 2320, Kubota 7610, NH TC26. I'm just not sure if the tractor is tall enough to work well with a standard size? Or, is the Low Profile made especially for the sub-CUTs only? (MF GC2300,JD 2305,etc.)

If your plowing sod get the one with the colter.

Huh the text on that low profile seems to indicate it comes with a coulter and gage wheel. The other one show it in the picture but down below it says it is optional. I would double check on that.

I have used one similar to the 19-12 model, on my TC18. It is made by International you can see pics in my photo gallery. The one with the coulter and the depth wheel would work really well. Have you priced the 81-12 model? The one I use is owned by a friend of mine, but I am going to by one for myself this spring.

Thanks. Your TC-18 is basically the same size as my 1523.

Did you find you a plow yet? I did e-mail Leinbach the coulter and depth wheel are available for both models.

So is the coulter to give the plow a line to follow? or is it too chop up solid matter and stalks and make them smaller to rot quicker, or both?

Or is it something that I am missing.

Oh, and how important is it?
