Tractor
TC33D
Well, I spent the morning searching for someplace to put this nut I found lying in my drive. It is obviously one that hasn't been around as long as some of my other equipment so I have to assume it fell of the TC33D.
I had planned to do a thorough inspection at the 50 hr. service but did it today instead (is lost seat time compensable?) and came up blank. I think I touched almost every bolt/nut that I could reach for a little piece of mind (greased every zirk I saw as well) and all SEEMS well.
So I will continue operation until something fails/falls off and I can find a home for this nut...I will however, pay ten dollars to the operator who has seen this 14mm nut before.

Personally I would go to my dealer and spend a while with the parts book. You should be able to find places where the nut might go. also ask the parts and service guys, they may be able to tell you right away. Another thought is to look over another tractor at your dealers to see if you can find it. Loader maybe?

Check your sway adjustments on the three point.

I had one fall off the the fender. The fender curves down and meets the floor near where you step up on the machine. The bolt head is under the rubber mat, and the nut goes inside the fender. You might check that spot. Good luck.

The nut was never on anything. It was dropped during assembly, and was sitting on top of something and finally fell off.

I'll take cash, MO, or personal check. No pennies please. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maybe, its the nut that fell off my motorcycle the other day ?

I was working on my bike and I left a nut on top of the frame. After I took a test drive to adjust my carb I remembered the nut /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I'ts long gone now /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

That's what I thought when I was looking at the tractor Steve. This nut is too small to really have any FEL / TPH function although I inspected those closely. I will pull the mat up check those bolts.
have blue, we'll put a ten year hold on your theory and if nothing falls off I'll send cash.
I'll send the nut to you mrwurm but if I find a home for it I'll need it back /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Maybe that is the proverbial "nut behind the wheel?"

That looks just like the nut that fell off my tractor -- I found it in my driveway, too. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Mine came from the FEL frame stiffener mount just below the REAR axle. There's a length of steel that runs from the FEL to the rear axle on either side that helps transfer the weight of the FEL to the tractor frame (in the rear). There are two bolts/nuts at the end of the stiffener, just in front of and below the rear axle next to the wheel (almost directly under the seat).

Look there.

The nut and turnbuckle came off on mine about a month ago.
37 dollars for a new turnbuckle! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
I'm now constantly turning around while I'm mowing and checking to see if it's still there. I have to keep tightening it, and it's always the one on the right side. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
