I am looking at the foton 404, just wondering if there is anyone out there that has one with 1000+ hours on it, and what kind of problems if any they have run into. Also if anyone has any big hours on any chinesse tractor. Just trying to find the best bang for my buck for around a 40 hp tractor. Thanks.

We have only been selling the Fotons for a year or so now,but they are really nice tractors in the 40 hp and up size.Farmpro sold the 40hp Foton under there name for several years and I'm sure there are some out there.If you are just hobby farming,shredding,grading with a tractor it will take several years to get 1000 hours,so I don't know how much response you will get here.As a dealer I think they are well built,with parts avaliability getting better everyday

I have 300 plus on a 404 and 704. Have never had a parts issue. I have had minor electrical issues (loose wiring, shorts)
