It seems the dealer and I have struck a deal with his last offer but I want to make sure the price is right.

1025r FILB
60" quick connect drive over deck w/ hydraulic lift

$21,300 OTD

Dealer offered me $7500 for my NH TZ25Da w/ FEL and 60" MMM mower. I think it has about an $8,000 retail value so a trade is the easiest, quickest way to do the deal.

$21,300
-$7,500 trade
-$2,000 cash
=$11,800 or $196.67 + insurance cost a month (I was really hoping to only finance $10k but that would be another couple months)

One thing I need to find out, do the 3pt hitch arms come with a FILB tractor? If not, I need to go back to the dealer for more pricing.

Bought a 2012 leftover JD 1026R w/FEL, 60" driveover midmount mower + mulching kit, Cat. 1 3-point hitch bracket & receiver, for $18,040.04 in May (before state tax). Dealer said this price included JD factory spring promotion of -$500, and the 2012 model was also priced -$500 less than 2013 new 1025R model.

Without discounts: $19,040.04. Your dealer looks a couple bills high to me. Did he price up the trade-in so he gets more sales credit?

Don't forget, I am getting the backhoe (FILB).

And after some more jawing we are at $20,929 after all rebates.

I don't think he priced up the trade, I got a second opinion from a dealer further away and he offered $7k sight unseen but he was about $1500 higher on the tractor.

Why do you want hydraulic deck lift?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I think the dealer has done about all he can. If you feel good with the dealer, go for it. You will also enjoy the hydraulic mower lift, raise the mower, lock in place and use the three point. The lifting is also quick allowing for lifting the mower while mowing without slowing down.

Why do you want hydraulic deck lift?

I would hate to try and lift a sixty inch deck with a lift handle like those found on a Craftsman. I bet after mowing a couple of times one would either have a strong back and arm or a hernia.

Why do you want hydraulic deck lift?

When mowing I also pull a 60" Swisher tow behind mower. I've added a picture as it is probably easier to see than it is to understand my explanation. It will be much easier though to keep the tow rod level and the deck where I want it with independent lifts.

That certainly is a nice setup! Nice power stroke peeking out of the garage too! The position control hitch of the 1025R would make your auxiliary mowing even easier.

Thanks for the compliment...yes the position control will be even better over the 1/4 valve or whatever it's called the NH uses.

My dad bought the truck new in '97, I bought it from him in '10. Pretty good truck.
