I've got a 1026r with a 260 backhoe that I have been doing commercial work with and I was wondering if there is anyway to speed up the hydraulic pump flow by either turning up the pump, having it modified by a shop for more displacement, or replacing it with a higher flow unit? This may heat up the fluid more, but I think I could counteract that by installing a supplementary reservoir or adding an oil cooler.
It would also be nice to get about 10% more force out of the bucket curl and boom lift cylinders
Any ideas are welcome!
I had thought about adding a pto pump and reservoir just for the backhoe, but it would be a tight, almost impossible fit, leaving the center pto as the only option. It turns at 1000 rpm if i am right, but i'm decreasing ground clearance by going this route!
