1026r Top n Tilt?

In my obsessive quest to find the best replacement for my 2305, I've come back to considering the 1026r. :confused2:

My question is: Has anyone put a top n tilt on their 1026r?

I'm planning on buying a BH, which gives me the Power Beyond, but I don't know how that plays into a spool (rear remote) for top n tilt use?

(Power beyond is just a set of auxiliary ports requiring a separate spool, correct?)

Correct. To use the power beyond to operate one or more cylinders, you still need to hook it up to a valve/spool to divert pressure to/from the implement. The PB works the backhoe since the hoe has it's own, dedicated valve built in.

The rear hydraulic outlet kit is p/n lvb25837 $271 list. That will give you 2 sets of rear couplers. Routes hydraulics from loader scv to rear. John Deere themselves do not have a top and tilt kit so you would have to get someone to line you up with correct cylinders to replace center and side manual links with cylinders for top and tilt operation.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can have the rear outlet kit you mentioned if you also have the power beyond.

Long time no see

You can but you'll have to get creative with the mounting of the rear outlets as they are both supposed to mount in the same location. Additionally you could not even have the FEL mounted while doing this since unplugging the FEL while off the ground would load the couplers and you'd never get it plugged back in without a jack.

I don't know about the 1026R but their isn't enough length in the side adjuster to have a tilt cylinder on my x749. You might want to look into mounting the valves on an IMatch hitch. That would get the new add on valves out of the way and you could then plug into the power beyond circuit.

I have also looked into installing a tilt cylinder on the IMatch itself as a work around for my 749. Without the tilt cylinder I can simply extend the unused front valve to operate the top link. If I do this I will likely add a manual diverter so that I can still accomadate a front blade with tilt for winter use.
