My friend has a MF 1035 and wants to add hydraulic oil to the system but cannot find where to add it. I haven't looked at it but he's a pretty smart guy and if he can't find where I doubt I could either. He called the guy he bought it from and he did not know either as he never added any. He bought a manual on CD but he says it does not show where to add the oil. Can anyone out there help us out??

Thanks in advance!!

my 1040 has a dipstick on the top by the gear shift and that is where i have added mine if i remember right as it has been a while ago when i changed mine. i do rember the mess on the floor when i drained it as i had no idea it held that much fluid and watched as it overflowed the 5 gal bucket big time. Thank you! I will pass that along to him. I got into a similar mess when I changed the hydro filter on my Kubota! Total panic as fluid went everywhere! Won't ever happen again!
