Fellow TBN'ers,
I have a 1040 loader on my 1455v, and I have a question about the hydraulics... My particular loader has a cable controlled valve, rather than the loader mounted valve.
I was looking for a "float" function, but there doesn't seem to be one, or the detent is VERY stiff. (I'm afraid to break the cables, which are expensive, so I've not really leaned into it, but the MF1533 I've used, it is fairly easy to engage float...)
What I did find is that the lever will move farther rearward, at which point the loader lifts very quickly. So normal travel is kinda slow, and all the way back lifts really quickly.
Just curious about these features, and if anyone can confirm that my valve really does'nt have a float position.
Thanks for whatever info you can provide!!
