Backhoe 110 TBL backhoe seat....how?

OK....I've been trying to figure out the best way to get from the front seated position to the backhoe position. Flip the seat over and then what? How do you get over the seat to the back?

Yup... it's a bit awkward! But, if you notice, there's a grated, metal step on the right side of the seat (tucked in right next to the junction of the top and bottom of the seat). And, there are metal bar handhold's along the upright's of the ROPS/FOPS and in the upper corners of the posts on the ROPS.

So, I crab my foot onto the step and reach up and grab the metal handlebars and swing my other leg over the seat and onto the flat base of the hoe (anti-slip grit strips on the platform).

Plunk my @ss into the seat and throttle up!!!

AKfish has that right. Just climb over it as best I can. The only part he forgot was the seatbelt. Always wear it both for loader & for hoe work.

My seat is sometimes sticky when I want to flip it over. I have found that if I run it all the way forward & then all the way back, it is much easier to flip. Or was that all the way back and then all the way forward? Anyway, you get the idea.

Yup... my oversight, Dave; shoulda stated that. Good idea to keep that belt on and hold your @ss locked into the seat!

There are times; with just a few too many rpm's (see other thread) the 110 can definitely get rockin' and rollin' and if you aren't payin' attention or just happen to shift when the tractor jerks --- well, you might not like the outcome...
