Hi,

I'm having trouble with the front aux hydraulics on the 4n1 bucket. The circuit will energize and the light on the diverter will come on but when I use the switch to open or close the bucket the light will dim but the hydraulics wont flow. Tractor is out of warranty and before I spend a boat load at the dealer was wondering if any of you had this problem before.

thanks
mike

Welcome to TBN Mike:D

There is not many 110 owners here, but we will see if we can help...

This sounds like an electrical problem to me, have you checked the voltage at the diverter?
It could also be that the diverter is hanging up, but then I would suspect that the circuit that is being diverted from would be having a problem as well...

I didn't check voltage at the diverter as it seems to be fine. If I put the diverter on rear hydraulics and then move the joystick I get the definite engine lug. With the diverter to the front the boom and bucket work ok but the aux will not work. Did some trouble shooting today and pulled and tested all the relays from the Aux Hydraulic Relay block. The only one that the book didn't tell me how to test was the Loader Diverter Valve Control Module. However when I hit the switch the light goes from the front to the back and vice versa.

I tested the solenoids on the aux spool valve and the resistance was 2.6 ohms, and neither lead was shorted to ground. One thing that was funny was with the switch in A, I had 12.3 volts to the plug going into the A solenoid. With the switch in B I had 3.6 volts going to the A solenoid. It got dark and I didnt finish testing the B solenoid. I wouldn't have thought that with the switch in B position that the A solenoid should be getting any voltage.

Did you find out what was wrong?

A quick way to test spool valve solenoids is to see if they magnetize.
