New problem. When I start my TLB the loader will not move nor the backhoe. After moving every lever and switch it begins working perfectly. I find raising engine rpm to 2000- 2200 and moving the stabelizers up and down it starts performing well. The stabilizers slowly fall as the machine is parked for a few days now. Any ideas on these new issues? Many thanks for $1000 saved by replacing engine speed sensor!

First do the easy stuff...replace hydraulic filters, and clean suction screen if there is one, check oil level or change it.

Do all cylinders leak down or just the stabilizers?

Not saying you should have to, but what happens if you give it 5 minutes to 'warm up' before trying to move any controls? I don't see a location listed, maybe you live in Antarctica?

Stabs falling in a few days is fairly normal, I would not worry about that. Is the hydraulic fluid foamy or milky looking?

Yeah that's what I was thinking, if air is getting in the system then I'd expect all cylinders to be affected. Any oil leaks?

Yes I let it warm up at about 1000 rpm before moving anything. Temp is about 80 in Maine this time of year.

Fluid is not milky, no leaks and the fluid is full. The strange thing to me is that when it cures itself, it is instant and operates like it was perfect. Also moves front and back just fine and also with the creeper. Power steering is also fine.
Sorry to be slow answering back but the tractorbynet app crashes everytime I try to reply, leaving me to start up the laptop.
Thank you all

I use Tapatalk on Android and it works pretty well for TBN and garage journal.

Typically your steering and transmission will be independent of the main hydraulic pump, but they may share a suction screen/filter(s). My tractor is smaller than yours, but one pump supplies the steering valve and transmission charge circuit via regulator. The main pump supplies the loader > backoe, or loader > 3 point hitch when the backhoe is removed. I think your tractor runs an extra pump or two from mine.

Just googled some pictures of your tractor. I'd look for a tiny hole in the boot looking thing that supplies the oil to the top of the hydraulic pumps on the front left hand side of the engine. That looks like it's above the oil level of the reservoir so as it sits air could get in letting the pump lose prime.

Alternatively, park the tractor facing down an incline for a day or two...does the problem still happen next time you run it?
