So, the six bolts that attach the the skid plate to the bottom of the tractor are very frozen. The 6mm drive socket does not lend itself to breaking the bolts free. I have soaked all 6 bolts from the topside with KROIL for 24 hrs to no avail.

Any advice?

Thanks

Any chance of getting your hands on an electric or air impact wrench? Dial the wrench down and just let it rattle and work the bolts.

Other than that - keep soaking 'em for awhile.

Been trying that, We will see how it goes after some more soak time. May have to drill them out. Not looking forward to that.

Thanks

Try taking a punch and hitting the bolts in the center, I know it is not the easiest place to swing a hammer, but if you jack the machine up on the stabilizers and loader bucket you could get it up a bit higher. Also try tightening them just a bit, a tiny, tiny bit, it may be just enough to get em' free. The impact gun is a good idea as well, if you have access to one...
