If I follow that logic through to its conclusion, the 7th function hose and valve could not possibly be repaired, which is something I just refuse to believe, although it may be true.

Nope... not impossible at all! Just labor intensive - IMO.

IIRC, the 7 function valve body appears to be a monolithic body. I don't believe you can add - only replace.

And of course... rebuild.
