I provided a link to Tractor Data on the 1250 with ag tire size. I have the ags on my 1040 and wouldnt have any other tire on the tractor.

TractorData has the wrong front tire size. The tires should be 7-16 and 12.4 x 24. I had a lot of pictures of my 1250 and lost them in a hard drive crash. Here is one from a dealers lot, where you can see the tires.

I was kinda wondering about that ! I have the 8-16 on the front, I remembered the size because I replaced them a few years ago. And I have the 13.6 x 24 rears so it seemed a bit strange on what was listed for the 1250 !

The 7-16 and 12.4-24 were the Ag R-1 tires that came on the 1250s. As best as I can remember, the R-4 were pretty close to the fenders. Of course the R-1 have many adjustment and can be up to about 10 inches or something like that from the fender.

My last tractor was a 1250. It had 7/16 and 12.4x24 on it. I don't know if the 1260 had the larger tires, but if it did they might also be the right ratio for the 1250. I will have to look in one of my shop manuals to see what it says, but I know for sure that the 7x16 and 12.4x24s work.

I have turf tires on my 1250 and would rather have the r4 but I can't find a comparable size to the metric Bridgestones I have. I use my tractor for mostly yard work but in the winter when the snow falls the little guy is all over the driveway.

Anybody know what the correct sizes would be for a 4x4 1250 to put R4's on it. pics would be great also.
