12LA dust caps

I hope I don't get jumped on too much, since I recall reading a few posts about the subject awhile ago. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

All I need to know is does NH make the cap for the FEL couplers on the tractor side and if so, maybe you have a part # too? My dealer sales guy said a somewhat non-convincing No and the service dept agreed with him by saying the tractors are not shipped with them. I don't want to bother my parts guy over the phone asking this, their always wicked busy.

I attached a pic of the caps for the FEL hoses that came with the tractor and find it hard to believe that NH doesn't supply or offer the caps(plugs) for the couplers. My TC21D had both!

Here is a link to Parkers catalog for Hydrulic Quick Disconnects. This is a PDF file. Dust covers are on pages 62 & 63. I was able to purchase them at a local supplier.

I don't have the numbers. But when I went to order them for my tractor, the dealer couldn't find them listed for the 12LA. They ended up looking up the 7106 and ordered those. When they came in my wife picked them up. She got the ones that go on the loader side, but not the ones on the tractor side. I need to get down there and pick those up. Just haven't had a chance.

I ordered a set of dust caps this summer - my machine didn't come in with anything. I was hoping to get the caps for both sides, but all that came was the tractor side - the plugs for the female connectors, which you are looking for. They are color coded like the ones you have for the loader side. I also would like a set of those, so I need to call my dealer back.

I can ask if the ones I have will fit your 12LA loader - I have the Case version of the 10LA, but I would think the couplings would be the same size since the flows are not that far apart.

If I can find out for sure, I'll let you know.

86532891 is the part number for the dust plug for the female couplers. List for about $5 per, which is about $3 too much. 86532892 is the number for the male tip dust cap on the loader hoses. About the same price.
