In my search for truth, justice, the American way and R4 tires for my 790, I ran across a Chinese manufacturer that is interested in making 13.6-16 R4 tires. It's not that there aren't R4s for the 790, but the JD specified 15-19.5 R4s don't leave room room for my belly mower. However, I think this is a bigger issue than just my 790 belly mower. There are other compact tractors that specify 13.6-16 R3 tires. However, if you are looking for a more aggressive tread pattern with the same rim size, you're just manure out of luck. Right now, I'm just testing the waters. If there isn't enough interest for a large number of tires, it wouldn't be worth the manufacturer's time.
