13' Flail Mower too big for Kubota L5740?

I am looking at a used 13' flail. Seller says it is approx. 20 years old, and the MFR is "Flail King". I can't find such a beast on the web to get specs. The exact weight of the mower is not known. I'll do a comparitive lookup after I post. (Seller things it is about a ton). In general, do you think I will have enough HP to pull and mow with the thing?
Engine HP is 57, PTO 50, Lift capacity is 2976 lbs.

I think it would be marginal, at best. Those mowers pull hard and slow. How tall grass will you be mowing? Ken Sweet

At worst case, as tall as fescue gets. I hope to stay on top of it, though.

I have a fellow that works for us and he ran a 7 ft for years. I think hew wore out 2. He says they will make the Black diesel smoke roll out on a 70 HP tractor and he mowed at PTO speed and 4 MPH max. Ken Sweet

I guess it depends on how often you intend to mow.

Keep it short and don't get in a hurry, MAYBE ok, but you're going to make your tractor work for its keep.

I run a 6 foot Rears Flail with my 3240 that has 25 PTO HP. I have never felt like I was hurting for power but I also take it easy in the really tall stuff. (some over 6 foot) It probably wouldn't hurt to have a few more horsepower though.

I want my tractor to be a 5740 but I wouldn't get a larger mower simply because of what I mow/shred. Mobility ya know.
If I did, I think 10 foot is about as wide as I would go.
Too bad you can't demo the unit to see how your tractor will handle it.
