I have a 1300D and I have looked at my axel seals in the past considering what might be required to remove them. It appears that they can be removed by making a thin tool to insert between the axel and the inside of the seal and "yanking hard" to remove the old seal. I think the tool would need to be about 3/4 inch in width (curved to the diameter of the axel) and about 1/16 inch in thickness, with a fish hook curve on the end to grasp the inside of the old seal.
I currently have a question out on this site about how to replace the engine valve guide seals and what the compression should be on the 1300D engine. Prodaddy TX was kind enough to reply to the compression request.
This is a wonderful informative site. I attribute the reason of no response to your question and to mine (about how to remove the valve seals), as that very few people have 1300 Yanmar's such as you and I have. Therefore there is little knowlege among the viewers on the subject of 1300 Yanmars. When I am prepared to tackle my valve seals I am going to give Hoyle Tractor a call to ask them how to do it and order the parts. Maybe you should do the same. They send parts very quickly. Good luck
