1300d dash lights-uh what are they?

Hello everyone, I just purchased a 1300d w/front loader and so far have enjoyed it very much and like a fool, I forgot what to ask the guy what the two red lights above the key are for. I think the right side is oil pressure since it goes off after the tractor starts but the left side light turns on when you turn the key in the on and it stays on. I want to make sure there is not a problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated as this is my first diesel tractor and I will be relying on this board heavily for a while in order to solve any problems.
Also, Is this a close enough model to a 155 that I can get a manual for it or should I buy a manual for the 1300?

The other light should be for the coolant temperature sensor. It sounds like the sensor is bad. I think the sensor is threaded into the left side of the cylinder head toward the front. There should be a single wire going to it. The light should go out if you unplug it.

Your YM1300D is an almost exact match to the YM155D. The only difference I know of is that you have a 3 speed pto v.s. the YM155D 1 speed pto. I would get manuals for the YM155D.

Thanks for the info! Gbirky was right on the money. Now is there a way I can just hook a temp guage in the same spot on the motor and run the guage to the dash? I really don't like to rely on a sensor if there is a way to check the temp all the time.
Once again thanks for your help. As I am new to this board as well as new to diesel tractors, I feel I will have many more questions in the future.

Is the connection for the sending unit on the block large enough to accomodate a capilary tube style gauge? If so.. I would look at deer compact gauges.. as they stand a good chance to fit the thread since they use yanmar engines.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered a 3 guage cluster with the metric adapters from that site. Once again thanks for the help as I am very new to the tractor thing.
