I posted in attachments about what I,m trying to do here , Pics are on page 3 .

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/147128-3-pt-carryall-box.html

I,m wondering what the rear lift capacity for this little tractor is. As the Dump box & rear 3 point carry all attachment is around 375 lbs total . To me it seems to be to far back & puts to much strain on the rear of the tractor .

With the box sitting on top of the attachment rails , it will lift it but only about 4 inches . The tractor then starts to make some odd Squeeling noises at that point , so I didn,t push it & figured I,d ask for help & advice here .

I know I have a few options, of wether to just scrap the idea of using the dump box & continue with bulding a carry all box .

OR , Put lower pins on the Dump box itself & top link connect to get it closer to the tractor .

Shorten lower & toplink arms ? I Know no matter what , I,ll have to add weight to the front but not sure how much depending on which way I decide to go .

I bought the DB pretty cheap with the Ideas of using it for this & for My forklift to have a stand in box for tree trimming & such. Just looking for ideas to decide which way to go. Thanks & hers a few pics in case You dont want to go to the other thread. Bob

I have a 1300D and what you are showing in the photos is too much leverage strain on the 1300D. My 1300D will pick up that weight, but I need even more weight on the front of mine (75pounds currently) to properly pick up with the PTO my 400 pound rotary cultivator, and it is near the rear wheels. I believe I need 200 pounds of wieght on the front of my 1300D.

I bought a John Deere cart to pull behind my 1300D (from Home Despot) and it works great, plus is light but thick and tough plastic that I can pick up easy.

Thanks lowveld . I,m beginning to agree with You. I had 200 lbs on the front & even with that it didn,t seem very stable & seemed a bit to much weight on the front for steering. So I,ll just keep it for My forklift & build a wooden box for the carryall frame. I,ll post Pics of what I cobble up :D .Thanks again , Bob
