1308 front PTO speed

Someone asked about the front PTO ratio for a model 1308 PTO but I can't find the post now so I'm starting a new one on it. Today I took one apart and found the driver pulley to be 110 mm O.D. and the driven pulley to be 148 mm O.D. Not to be confused with the 'pitch diameter' but this still yields a ratio of out:in of 0.743:1. So at 2700 engine rpm, the output is right about 2000 rpm. I've been looking for a 2-stage snow blower for the front but am finding it to be difficult. The model 1948 would work, but it's kind of a monster, kind of rare, and I would rather see something about 1/2 of its weight - I think I can get away with a little lighter construction. Most other blowers are either clockwise input (the TX Isekis are counter-clockwise as viewed from the operators seat), or a much different speed. I might be stuck with the single-stage I have. 3-pt blowers would actually accept the counter-clockwise input but 540 rpm vs. 2000 becomes a problem. Anybody have luck with any front-mount 2-stage blowers out there for these tractors? I've never even seen pictures of one with a 2-stage setup.

1308 front PTOs are for Iseki TX series tractors which include the hydrostatic Bolens tractors - possibly others. Come to think of it, I'm not sure what the Iseki model #s are for the hydro version Bolens import tractors.

I have a 1502H with 1308 on it and running a 48" two stage snowblower i love it. Its about 2' tall and i can get 12" in it at a time no prob and as for throwing snow easily 50'

What snowblower are you using? Bolens never made a 2-stage blower for the TX Iseki tractors that I'm aware of (except the 1948 and its variants but they were not recommended for the smaller Iseki tractors). I'm in the process of converting a Kubota B2650 over to use on mine.

Yup, that's a 1948. Heavy unit, but a good one from what I can gather. I've heard of people installing them on TX tractors, but not many. I'd love to see a video of it working if you could post one. Thanks for sharing.

Only issue is traction as i have no counter weight on rearend
