1440V keeps blowing fuse on headligfhts

Any ideas where to check first? the lights will work for a few minutes, then the fuse blows. I gave a quick look visually but didn't see anything that would be causing it.

I had to Google a 1440V, sounds like you have a Massey. Maybe a little more info would help. Did you change the headlights recently? Or did the fuse just start blowing? If you changed the headlights, check for a short to the frame somewhere around the lights. If the fuse just started blowing and the lights work each time until the fuse blows, you have a short somewhere betwenthe switch and the lights. Maybe even in the switch. If you have a schematic or can trace the wires, take the wire loose at the switch and check if the fuse blows. Then connect the switch back up and disconnect at the lights, try the fuse again. If it blows then you have a short in the wire between. If you have a multimeter you can check with it as well.
