The 1455v used a MF 1040 loader and the 1552 I believe uses a new MF 1530 loader. Don't know what the operating pressures are on the 1552/1530 loader. The spec sheet on the 1040 indicates 1800 lift capacity to full height at the bucket edge and 3061 breakout force at bucket edge when used on the 1455v with pressures set at 1850 PSI. The spec sheet on the 1455v indicates hydraulic operating pressure at 2276 PSI, so the loader performance MIGHT be upped a little from what is stated. The same 1040 rated on a 451 as 1975 lift cap and 4645 breakout force with pressures set at 2500 PSI.
The 1530 spec sheet indicates 1617 lift capacity 19.5" forward of pivot pins and breakout force at bucket edge 2960.
I suspect that both loaders are about equal but haven't operated the 1530.
I favor buying the loader to match the tractor, but that's just an opinion. There are good and bad of both aftermarket and tractor name brands.
I've worked mine pretty hard and it's served me well. My dealer and Massey have been straight up with their service with the problems that have come up and I'll buy from them next time if I can. Although I haven't driven the 1552, I don't see enough difference to pay $3000 more for one. In a few years your tractor's value will be determined more by how it looks and has been serviced, hours use, etc. than the particular model number or year sold unless a particular model has a lot of problems.
The Agco is basically the same tractor with different paint and maybe a little sheet metal change. Don't know about where you are, but Massey dealers are generally more attuned to agricultural markets and tractors while CAT folks lean toward the industrial and construction markets. The dealer can make a big difference in your comfort zone if you ever have problems, and all brands have problems occasionally.
Good luck with your shopping.
