14LA FEL lifting capacities

As I look over the weight lifting capabilities of the 14LA on my TC34DA I see nothing which states if the figures include the weight of the 68" Q/A bucket or not. I am putting a tooth bar on it which weighs 100 lbs and I have no idea what a 68" Q/A bucket weighs but if the published figures include the bucket I won't have as much lifting cap. as I was hoping for. Thanks for any input.

Loader lift specs are normally expressed as lifting weight at the loader arm pins or 19" forward (because most loads are forward of the bucket). You have to deduct bucket weight from total weight and your bucket without the toothbar is around 250-275 lb. I believe your 14LA has a lift of around 1400 lb, so you can easily lift about 1000 lb with the bucket and toothbar, perhaps slightly more.

BTW: I just use the model of the loader as the rough total lifting power. It is pretty close and easy to remember:

1. 14LA = 1400 lb
2. 16LA = 1600 lb
3. 18LA = 1800 lb

Of course, the next question might be if the 15LA can lift 1500 lb, and the answer is no. It can actually lift slightly less than the 14LA because it it longer to account for the SuperSteer tractor it is mounted on, so it can lift maybe 100 lb less than the 14LA.
