Hello,
I am looking at purchasing a new Batwing. I currently have Landpride 3712- It is great mower, however a little narrow and light for what I need.
I am looking at 15' mowers. Here are the models. These are all close in price and cutting capacity.

Bush Hog 2515
Landpride 4715
Titan 3515
Wood 15.60

Does anyone have any experience with any other these? I mow several spots each year- a couple of them 10 acres or less- but my is in a river bottom and the weeds get very tall and mow around 50 - 60 acres each year.

Thanks in Advance,

All good brands.
Have you considered John Deere? I run CX-15’s in a commercial mowing operation and they are good, tough mowers.
I think they are called a “R” now.
Check them out. Only 1 repair in decades of ownership!

Cut it for hay. Cut and rot don't seem too good. That's why the state are the only ones I know with batwings. They work for the outfit that has a money making machine. The rest of us have to produce goods and services to get the money they print. It's a system already set up when I was born. Bush hogging river bottom land? Never heard of such. It needs to be plowed or cut hay. Is it fenced and has animals on it?

This is open area in the river bottom that is 90% under water or wet from December until late July. This year it was even hard to mow in Late September. Most of the weeds are nearly eye level sitting in my Kubota M5-111. Common rush, horsetails, and rattle pods. Hay is not a good option for this. Also, the hogs have it torn up so much that after a couple of hours of mowing, I am ready to stop.

After a few phone calls today, here is what I found.

BushHog 2215 $20,250.00
Landpride 4715 $19,400.00
Titan 3515 $16,400.00

I will call about the Woods and John Deere cutters tomorrow.
