anyone own a 150 ? I have a chance to buy one at a good price,, ?? 2200.. hrs always stored inside.. can anyone tell me anything about them ? are they reliable ?? thanks for any help bruce

Of it's even stored inside during it's entire life, it's probably in good shape physically. The 150 is slightly bigger than a 135. If it's diesel would be a plus. Check for leaks. Feel the cotter pin on the bottom near the clutch inspection plate. Check the PTO for leaks. Check inside the rear wheel wells for oil. Check oil color on both tranny and crankcase. What price are they asking? Do you have any pictures? -kid

thanks for the reply,,, it does have a small oil leak..and it is diesel....asking 4500....the worst thing I have found on it is the seat,, thanks for the help ...bruce

Power/tire size/etc was ball park of the Ford 800 series that production ended at the start of the 150 era. I do not need one but if the price was right one would be handy around the place. Great working small gardens, etc with 5/6' wide equipment. I call leaking normal as our 265 has them.

I have a 1965 MF 150 row crop with the perkins diesel, bought it 1975, it's a very durable, and reliable tractor. It's also very easy on diesel (a full tank goes a very long ways). Paid $4000.00 for it back in 1975, for $4500.00 now, I think it's a steal at that price if it doesn't need any major work done on it. I love the 150's

Seats are easily replaced. $4500 with minor leaks could be a real bargain for a MF 150.

Pretty much. I recently bought a truck and have been puting some add-ons to it. New seats as a matter of fact.
